A classic slender style scarf, always perfect for when you are looking for just a little extra touch of something to add to your look for that day.  Loose around the neck or even threaded through as a belt, the slender scarf is that little bit of tartan that gives you more!

With this special pre-order, only a select quantity will be made in the ADORED ALIAM TARTAN design.  A design we had the absolute pleasure and honour of creating with Alan Cumming as a surprise gift for Miriam Margolyes when she visited our mill in the summer 2021.

    What It's Made Of

    • Made with 100% finest natural merino wool
    • Spun and dyed in Scotland
    • Woven into tartan fabrics by us at our Highland mill
    • All labels made from hand cut and laser etched Scottish leather

    Size - 2m x 30cm (approx)

    Item Finishing - Blanket stitch with small hand fray, and branded real leather label

    Fabric Design - The Official Aliam Tartan, a design we created with Alan Cumming during the summer of 2021, as a special surprise gift for Miriam Margolyes

    Weave Design - repeated throughout the fabric is the year the word REBEL

    Fabric Repeat - the fabric for each scarf has been cut by hand from the cloth roll woven at our mill, therefore aspects of the repeat will be unique to each item, which is pretty cool as it makes them all unique!

    For all of our made to order items we can usually have your made to order and measure clothing to you within 2 weeks, when our fabric stores have your fabric on the roll.

    For all items ordered as part of the 4 X A Year Club, we can have your clothing to you from as early as 2 weeks or it may be up to 8-10 weeks if we need more fabric. As we are weavers, its super handy right! No waiting months and months for items to pass around various factories, we do it all under one roof.

    An inheritance.

    My brother wears my Granddad's kilt and I am wondering if my daughter may one day inherit mine! Beautiful material, nothing like the horrendous school kilt of my youth, smooth, warm and a delight to wear. While I loved some of the other colours available the black is very versatile and can be worn casually or dressed up. The cut is also incredibly flattering, the length practical, not sure what more you could ask of a skirt?!

    My Banner scarf has a wonderful colour. Like rays of sunshine in cold cloudy days. The weaving is excellent and the material keeps me warm. It was a nice moment when I opened my parcel and found such a lovely scarf in it.

    I knew it would be soft, but I didn't expect it to be so silky soft. It was well worth the wait, I absolutely love it! If I could change one Minto thing with it, it would be the hood. I feel like it's way too big. If the material was folded a 1/2 inch into itself around the edges, then sewn it would sit perfectly 🥰 This is likely only my issue, though, because I have a small head, hahaha.
    The fit is perfect! They ask for your measurements so that it will fit custom to you.
    If you're debating buying this hoodie or whichever style you're looking at, trust me, it is worth the price and wait time. I plan to buy a kilt in the future. I'm not a dressor skirt person, but their kilt for women looks like a blanket of cozy, and if it's like the hoodie I just got, it will be just as amazing. ❤️
