We could not have designed the Samurai Kilt without giving it it's very own dedicated top half!  Here we have the cute Samurai Bolero, a crop length cute jacket with straight cut arms and small upright collar.  Worn open for a casual look or use our 4" kilt pin to style your own closed look.  This can be worn with the full Samurai Kilt or your favourite denims and a white team, cool and classic!

Available in the four iconic Element colours and available in the dense tailoring fabric quality which has woven by us in our mill in Scotland.  Also with this design we have flipped some of the fabric panels to mirror what we do in the Samurai Kilt.  You will see the cool contrast and change of direction on the tartan features across the arms, body and collar, zoom and you will see!

We give you more, with access to the full range of options direct from our planet and people first design archives.  These are our bad-ass books of how to always wear your values and look amazing!  See full details below.

• Arm Length & Body Length – all bolero's have a standard arm length of 15" and a body length of 16". This is to give the best layered look, whether its a fancy do or a casual weekend brunch, this bolero pairs with everything!

• Bust & Bicep - we will require these measurements to ensure that the bolero wraps you up perfectly and you have plenty of ease to get those arms moving as you hit the dance floor!

• Collar - the bolero has a distinct short collar ensuring balance with the overall bolero length

• Item Finishing – Comes with branded real leather label specifying the makers batch. There is no fixed closure on this item, they all come with a 4" kilt pin so that you decide everyday how it closes, or maybe you just want to go wide open!

• Fabric Design - The Elements of Endurance Tartan, designed by us!

• Weave Design - repeated throughout the fabric is the alchemy element symbols, earth, air, water and fire, represented in triangle form.

• Fabric Repeat – all fabric has been cut by hand from the cloth roll woven at our mill, therefore aspects of the repeat will be unique to each item, which is pretty cool as it makes them all unique!

Here we proudly share with you our less than x 1 mark-up that we apply, and how this garment has been costed.

Most brands in the 'fashion' world add multipliers of x 2 for wholesale then add another x 2 for retail. When you buy direct from us its a less than x 1, we use the profits from everything we create to support more fairly paid jobs and push the textile world to be more eco-conscious. But we do a lot more like donating to charities and education bodies. This is what we proudly call our ethical pay it forward mark up. For full information on this, check out our full process and pricing page.

The cost breakdown for this garment is;
Fabric Cost £86.63
Labour To Make £52.50
QC, Labelling & Packing £15.00
Overheads (incl insurance, premise costs etc) £30.83

For Cost Per Wear (CPW) we just wanted to share how buying less, paying ethical prices, loving and wearing more is actually really affordable, its all about the number of wears!

You wear the item 3 times a week for the next 3 years (remember that’s as a kilt, cape or dress!), that is 468 wears. The CPW is £255 divided by 468 wears, Cost Per Wear 54p!
